The most valuable site/newsletter combo I have come across is a fairly new one. It is the Croke Report and myfxtrader.com The Croke Report is so good at calling supports resistances and pivots it is scary and myfxtrader is really informational and saves me a lot of search time when I am looking for new information or info on FOREX trading. I also read the King Report and some ML and GS reports pretty regularly but the most beneficial of all of those has to be the Croke Report more for its accuracy than anything else.

Maybe its worth to have a look at the Trading Simulator, a new free online trading tool.

The URL is:
http://www.numericalexample.com/content/view/86/27/
You can also find the tool by searching on the following:
"Trading Simulator" numericalexample

Users can enter almost any number of transactions, dividends, an initial cash balance, interest rates, costs and dividends.

The Trading Simulator computes the value of your portfolio, the costs, the interest received or paid and the ROI.

In addition the Trading Simulator produces two time graphs. The top graph shows the value of the portfolio, the cash part and the investments. The second graph shows the value of each (risk) category of your investments.

-baby pips
-dailyfx
-thebull.com.au

When I was first starting to get to know forex, I read baby pips, which was great website for all beginners.

Dailyfx.com/calendar is the economic calendar that I use

Also, there are many great articles on thebull.com.au , while not all articles are about forex, there's still some great information there.

As you know, John, I lean toward great logical and philosophical thinkers who happen to be traders.

For this reason I like (other than your blog) The Kirk Report.
http://www.thekirkreport.com/

Charles Kirk is all substance and no flash and he does a fine job of separating the noise and emotion from the decision-making process...

"...it is the intellect alone which corrects the error of the senses; and it is not possible to produce any case which error results from our trusting the operation of the mind more than the senses." ~ Rene Descartes
